I have no doubt that General McChrystal's extravagant COIN war has Osama bin Laden's approval. It could not fit better with his hopes that the reaction to the 9/11 attacks would be highly self destructive to his enemy. He has tricked our stupid leaders into sending hundreds of thousands of us, military and civilian, over there so he would not have to face the difficulties of attacking us over here.
